BECOME THE PERSON IGNORANT OF YOUR PROBLEM
Consumed in thought, I was crossing the street.
I thought that if I walked with my Problem, she might leave me.
Suddenly, I saw an old friend right up my nose.
Both happy and caught off guard, we hugged, talked and laughed.
When we parted ways, I realized that for the past 5 minutes, I wasn't thinking about my Problem.
For 5 minutes, I felt like a different person.
Fresh, joyful and carefree, that person was going for a thoughtless walk on a beautiful Saturday.
Although I felt a tremendous pull to think about my Problem again, I felt too jealous of that person's ignorance of it.
I looked at the people around me: "All of them don't know about your Problem too."
So I told myself:
"Here and now, I am giving myself permission to abandon my Problem.
I am now going on a joyful and carefree Saturday walk without her. "
